愛荷華州又稱奧瓦州，是美國50個聯(lián)邦州份之一，位于北緯40°36’N to 43°30’N，西經(jīng)89°5’W to 96°31’W，寬320公里，長500公里。其首府為得梅因（Des Moines）。
艾奧瓦州位于美國中西部地區(qū)，20世紀中后期，艾奧瓦州的農(nóng)業(yè)經(jīng)濟過渡到多元化經(jīng)濟，艾奧瓦的機械造業(yè)位居全美各州首位。如高級制造業(yè)，金融保險，生物技術和綠色能源產(chǎn)品等。該州區(qū)居民的平均受教育程度全美領先，超過9成以上常住人口具有大學教育背景，艾奧瓦州被列為美國居住至安全的州之一。艾奧瓦的州民被昵稱為“千里眼”（Hawkeyes）。

| 學分要求： As a first-time applicant, you must be of good moral character and reputation and meet ONE of the following degree and accounting concentration requirements: | 1. Earned a graduate degree with a concentration in accounting from a program that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Board. |
| 2. Earned a graduate degree in business from a program that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Board, and: completed at least 24 semester hours in accounting with at least one course in each of the following: financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting – excluding elementary or principles level courses. Courses in internship or life experience are not acceptable. | |
| 3. Earned a baccalaureate degree in business or accounting from a program that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Board, and: completed at least 24 semester hours in accounting with at least one course in each of the following: financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting – excluding elementary or principles level courses. Courses in internship or life experience are not acceptable. | |
| 4. Earned a baccalaureate or higher degree and completed the following hours from an accredited institution recognized by the Board, and: （1）completed at least 24 semester hours in accounting with at least one course in each of the following courses: financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting – excluding elementary or principles level courses. Courses in internship or life experience are not acceptable. And, （2）completed at least 24 semester hours in business-related courses, such as: finance, management, marketing, economics, and business law. Courses in internship or life experience are not acceptable. | |
